Isn’t It Interesting Obama Wants To Hold Only One Town-hall Debate And On July 4th?
Uncategorized December 27th, 2009Its obvious he’s scared of this forum and figures “let’s do it on a National holiday when most Americans are on vacation and not necessarily watching debates on TV”. What do you think?
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Does McCain even know WHEN July 4th is?
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
It’s becoming increasingly obvious that Obama is TERRIFIED of doing what McCain has had the guts to do right from the beginning…give the people of this country a microphone and allow them to ask real questions. Obama is a gifted orator, but he is terrified of going in front of the people without his prepared speeches and his telepromter. (I guess he learned a painful lesson when he had a little problem remembering how many states are in the union.)
@Tom B: You don’t get it do you…Obama would still have his telepromter and his prepared speeches to rely on in the debates he proposes…and he would still be avoiding the questions from “we the people”. That should be a real eye-opener for you and other Obama peeps, but you’ll probably continue to try to excuse it and justify it and explain it away.
What is Obama scared of?!?
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
HE will do it in his own time. Who would be afraid of an old insance, senile geezer like McShame? Hahahah, your premises is misguided because of your hate for Obama and your favoritism for McShame the warmonger.
But on a lighter note, Obama leads considerably in New Jersey and Wisconsin – double digit leads! Whoo hooo!http://www.nysun.com/national/obama-open…
And now…. Obama 2009!
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Without handlers, teleprompters, speech writers, this look
at my wrist where i keep my notes to move forward during
my speech falls flat on his ***. He can’t think on his feet.
That is why he chose research law in Constitution law,
as opposed to litigation. When you are a practicing
attorney in a court of Law. You must be able to change
‘course immediately or lose your jury. Obama can not do
this. He stumbles, fumbles, and stutters. Hillary proved
that., and cleaned his clock in every improptu Q/A/
So monkey boy can’t take questions from face to face
Americans who want off the cuff answers, One of the
reasons Im not voting or ever would vote for this walk
up right adult chimp.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Yes, it’s yet another shameful tactic
Also, July 4th is the most patriotic day of the year…listening to Obama’s brand of anti-American rhetoric is the last thing people want to hear that day
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Very interesting indeed, will he stumble like he did at this live “event” when he says hold on one, um sec, um I cannot hear myself” (code for I cannot hear my feed)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxBX8sz3t…
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
because in town hall he can´t use teleprompters, and don´t forget that he is no a leader, he is just a product of publicity….I think that the media loves him, because they know that they can play with him like Britney Spears
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Not at all. Obama will not easily concede to anything that McCain proposes because it would make him look weak. The same applies to McCain both are very shrewd candidates. Pretty much they will have to compromise on dates, times, etc.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Yes, it doesn’t surprise me at all that Obama wants to have a town-hall debate on the 4th of July. But you know what? I’m going to tape it so I can see what a fool he makes of himself.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Yes. He and his campaign staff are slick. They have really done an excellent job of BSing the people. Lot of experience in there doing everything possible to hide the truths from the people.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Yes. Obama can’t function in any environment he can’t control. He’ll never meet John McCain toe to toe. The very thought of it scares him to death.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Well obviously each candidate will try to get their way. Personally I think they should meet half way and do both some town hall and some bigger forum debates.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
He knows McCain will own him. And youre right, its obvious why Obama wants to do it on the 4th. People are BBQing and spending time with their friends and family…not inside watching a political debate.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
yes, because he won’t have control over the situation and can’t look at a teleprompter- also, McCain would mop the floor with him.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
No. No. No. I’m so tired of crap like this. McCain holds a ‘town meeting’ and stacks the audience with his supporters yet bills them as democrats and independents.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
It was an honest mistake. He didn’t realize that July 4th was a national holiday.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
When you’re in the lead you get to set the debates.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
He knows that he’ll look bad when he tries to speak in an unscipted town hall debate so he’s trying to avoid doing them.
Democrats for McCain !!!
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
I would be to drunk to remember.Obama knows John McCain going to make him look a fool. But he looks like a fool now.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
I doubt the Obamas had anything else planned for that day.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
He’s afraid of looking stupid next to McCain, and he should be.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Does he even know what the 4th of July is?
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
He is such a chicken sh*t.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Agree. The best time for me to view is in the evening on a weekday.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Obviously you missed the whole point. If it means that much to you back your a$$ up from the table on the 4th and watch the debate. Since when do debates and speeches need to occur when its convenient. They certainly are not when Bush gets his tired a$$ on T.V on a Monday night when I just got home from work only to tell more lies and ask for money for the war. If Obama had agreed to the debate on July 7, 2008 you would probably still have something to say about that.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
No, not at all, what is so interesting about that?
It is his intelligent strategic move to prevent McCain from taking control of the campaign. McCain is trying to bully him and push-and-shove the GE process.
Are you telling me that if McCain told you to jump off a bridge you would? Wait, dont answer that!
-Obama ‘08
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Oh pleeease.
With the price of gas being what it is…..Majority of people won’t going anywhere but their back yards to BBQ.
it’ll be a good day to debate.
obama scared of McCain?? Right.
Ad why do you have quotes on that sentence as if that is what Obama said??
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
Oh yeah, it’s so interesting. McCain could totally wipe the floor with Obama in any debate setting!
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
You forgot to mention that he wants 3 standard debates AND a foriegn policy debate that is not moderated.
December 27th, 2009 at 6:38 am
I don’t blame him. He hasn’t had as much time to prepare for a debate as Mccain.
